Went to london to work as Jack Eames assistant at Wella studios in London today, I was given the opportunity to set up a studio, with a back drop, soft boxes, flash brolly's ect and so I learnt how to set up all the gear necessary for a pro studio shoot. I then sat at the lap top screen next to the artistic director whilst choosing which shots were the best and which ones should be used to cover and fill the pages of Hair magazine. It was an incredible experience and has really helped me see things within my own photography that before i would never have noticed. I showed one of my street fashion images and we talked about the pros and cons of using an on camera flash, and how for some modelling shoots a ring flash is the best thing. i was also given invaluable advice on how to light outside on the streets with minimal equipment
