Tri-X film

Tri-X film was a high speed black and white photography film that was released in 35mm in 1954, it was once the most popular film to be used by photojournalists and amateurs but since colour film and then digital being released its has been used less and less, however it is still popular with todays documentary photojournalists and fanatic of the old school ways of photography.

This film made a huge impact back in the 50's as it allowed high quality photographs to be taken near enough anywhere, it opened up the doors for the fashion industry and let in influence from the photojournalists that had been photographing outside long before. Magnum photographers took up photographing fashion as well as photojournalism and became a main player in how that influenced fashion photography  and even the fashion industry itself.
